A bright addition to the bar menu this season: Spring Lemon & Pea Risotto, Pecorino, Spring Herbs, Remoulade.
This dish is the essence of spring in a bowl. Creamy risotto, perfectly cooked to that delicate balance of richness and bite, is lifted with fresh lemon and sweet spring peas. Shavings of pecorino add a salty depth, while a generous scattering of fresh herbs brings fragrance and color. A touch of remoulade adds a subtle tang and texture that makes each bite layered and satisfying.
Light yet comforting, vibrant yet refined — it’s the perfect dish to enjoy at the bar with a glass of wine and the longer evenings of the season.

And the ever-popular Whipped Feta with Local Honey & Fearrington Crackers Creamy, slightly tangy, and finished with a drizzle of honey for just the right touch of sweetness.
Simple pleasures, good wine, and great company — that’s what Galloway’s does best.
If you appreciate Chardonnay with energy and balance rather than heaviness, this is one to know.
The 2023 Linda Vista Vineyard Chardonnay offers vibrant notes of Meyer lemon, Golden Delicious apple, yellow peach, musk melon, and a touch of honey, all carried by lively acidity and a clean, mineral-driven finish. Moderate alcohol keeps it refreshing, while just the right hint of creaminess adds depth without weight.
Aged in seasoned French oak barrels that impart no overt oak flavor, the focus remains squarely on the fruit and vineyard character.
Founded in 2003 by Steve and Jill Matthiasson, the winery is built on a philosophy of being farmers first. Their commitment to sustainable agriculture has helped shape environmentally responsible farming practices throughout California. This bottling is certified organic and vegan, a true reflection of their values.
Troy says: “Matthiasson has long been one of the most thoughtful producers in Napa. This Chardonnay shows restraint, freshness, and beautiful minerality — it’s everything I want in a modern California Chardonnay without the heaviness. It’s elegant, food-friendly, and incredibly well-priced for the quality.”
Enjoy it with crab cakes, raw shellfish, or seared pork chops — or simply on its own as a beautifully composed Napa Chardonnay that lets freshness lead the way.

NEW FROM OUR WINE BLOG
New from our Wine Blog - Troy Revell reflects on a long-held goal of elevating the Fearrington wine program by ensuring every wine on the 1,200-bottle list comes from producers practicing responsible farming. Using AI to analyze the extensive list, he discovered that 100% of the wines already come from wineries committed to organic, biodynamic, sustainable, or regenerative practices.
The result affirms Fearrington’s longstanding philosophy: great winemakers are farmers first, and thoughtful purchasing decisions naturally align with environmental stewardship and the values of Relais & Châteaux.
