Wine Class: Spanish Coastlines - Under the Sea's Influence

Explore how Spain’s coastlines shape its wines, from the zesty, salt-kissed whites of Rías Baixas to the sun-soaked, herb-tinged reds of Empordà. Discover how ocean air, climate, and culture influence every glass. Guided by Wine Director Troy Revell, this class offers an engaging journey through Spain’s coastal vineyards, highlighting the unique interplay between land and sea.

From the misty Atlantic shores to the sun-drenched Mediterranean, we’ll taste a curated lineup that brings these contrasts to life; bright, saline-driven whites, textured blends, and expressive reds that reflect their maritime origins. Along the way, you’ll explore distinctive regions, indigenous grapes, and the traditions that make Spain one of the most dynamic wine producing countries in the world.

A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place on the Terrace behind The Fearrington House Restaurant.

Join us on Thursday, June 11th at 6pm!
