Franco Ferrari
ONE OF OUR FAVORITES
There are some collections we fall in love with because they simply feel special, and Franco Ferrari is one of them.
Founded in Italy in 1973, Franco Ferrari began with exquisite scarves, stoles and shawls. Today, the collection includes beautiful ready-to-wear while remaining rooted in the textile artistry that made the name so distinctive. Every piece is produced in Italy, combining exceptional fabrics, sophisticated prints and unexpected color.
We love the way Franco Ferrari treats fabric almost like a work of art. Luxurious silks and wools become flowing blouses, skirts, jackets and extraordinary scarves that feel individual without being difficult to wear.
It’s that effortless Italian quality we’re always drawn to at Dovecote: elegant but never overly precious, artistic yet wearable, and just a little unexpected. These are pieces you don’t see everywhere, celebrating color, craftsmanship and individuality while making getting dressed a little more interesting.
Ann Lightfoot
ONE OF OUR FAVORITES
Elemental, feminine and handmade, every Ann Lightfoot piece is born of a devotion to design, beauty and elegance. Raw and delicate natural materials dictate design - no spacers, no extras, nothing irrelevant. Ann Lightfoot jewelry simultaneously stands on its own and complements every outfit. The carefully selected materials come from all over the world and each piece is handmade in her small Lyme, Connecticut studio.
Hinson Wu
One of Our Favorites
There are some designers we return to season after season because they simply understand how women want to dress, and Hinson Wu is one of them. The New York-based designer launched his collection with a focus on perfecting the classic shirt.
Today, his designs combine beautiful fabrics, thoughtful tailoring and unexpected details in shirts, dresses, knitwear and easy separates. A collar sits just right, a little stretch makes a tailored shirt surprisingly comfortable, or a playful print gives a familiar silhouette an entirely new personality.
What we love most is how Hinson elevates the everyday. His pieces are polished without feeling fussy, distinctive without trying too hard, and wonderfully easy to wear. It’s a combination that has made Hinson Wu a longtime favorite at Dovecote.

Frank & Eileen was founded in 2009 by former engineer Audrey McLoghlin to reinvent the classic button-up shirt for women—a space traditionally dominated by menswear. Named after her Irish grandparents, the brand has grown thoughtfully into a globally recognized, woman-owned and led company, known for using the world’s finest Italian fabrics and partnering with ethical, sustainable manufacturers for over a decade. Based in California, Frank & Eileen champions female entrepreneurship and designs with purpose, integrity, and timeless style.
Kinross Cashmere
One of Our Favorites
Kinross Cashmere is a luxury brand with Scottish roots, known for timeless, naturally inspired designs and meticulous craftsmanship. Founded under Dawson Forte Cashmere over 20 years ago, it now operates independently in the U.S. Every piece is made to the highest European standards—from hand-combed goat fleece to finished garment—reflecting enduring quality, elegance, and a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
