It’s a fantastic time to be a kid at McIntyre’s this month! We’ve got two stellar events planned that are not to be missed.
Saturday, February 3rd from 10am to 4pm: Whirlikids Bookfest
Our first annual book festival for kids at all reading levels, ages 3 and up! Join us in the barn for this free event featuring authors and illustrators from North Carolina and across the country- they’ll be sharing stories and characters with kids and kid literature lovers of all ages!
Saturday, February 10th at 2pm: Special Storytime with Ladybug Girl
Meet beloved book character Ladybug Girl and share stories of love and friendship at this special story time event at McIntyre’s. The Ladybug Girl series showcases the themes of imagination, empowerment, compromise and courage — not to mention a love of the outdoors!

Thursday, February 15th at 4pm: Bookends Book Club discusses Edith Wharton
On Thursday, February 15th, we’ll explore Edith Wharton’s A Son at the Front. Don’t hesitate to invite a friend or two to join us! And as with all book club titles registered with McIntyre’s, this book is offered at a 20% discount!
Saturday, February 17th at 11am: Cindy Geary & LaHoma Romocki – Going to School in Black and White
