Summer Series Wine Class – Part 2: Provence, France

Whether Summer in the South is your favorite season or you’re fleeing to the beach, we all could use some wine ideas to make it through! Fearrington Wine Director Troy Revell has a three part series focused on coastal regions producing refreshing selections, continuing with the French region of Provence. Known for rosé but it offers so much more, as the history of winemaking in the region dates to at least 600 BC and includes influence from Greeks, Romans, Catalans, and of course the French. Along with rosé, we will taste whites and reds from this classic summer vacation spot!

We’ll be tasting Greece on June 20th, Provence, France on July 11th, and Tasmania, Australia on August 22nd. Join us for all of them!

A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place in the Cottage behind The Fearrington House Restaurant from 6-7pm.
