Summer Series Wine Class – Part 1: Greece

Whether Summer in the South is your favorite season or you’re fleeing to the beach, we all could use some wine ideas to make it through! Fearrington Wine Director Troy Revell has a three part series focused on coastal regions producing refreshing selections, starting in the Eastern Mediterranean with Greece. In ancient times, Greece was the foremost producer of wine in the world, and the modern day production has seen a renewed resurgence of quality from native varietals. Join us in exploring options like Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, Xinomavro, and more. They are hard to say but easy to drink!

We’ll be tasting Greece on June 20th, Provence, France on July 11th, and Tasmania, Australia on August 22nd. Join us for all of them!

A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place in the Cottage behind The Fearrington House Restaurant from 6-7pm.

We look forward to welcoming you!
