Silvan Goddin and Jordan Tony created Homegrown Handgathered, an online community showcasing low-cost methods for gardening, foraging, and cooking in all environments. With more than 15 years’ experience, Goddin manages an urban demonstration farm, and Tony teaches regenerative agriculture and foraging. They live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Silvan grew up down the road from McIntyre’s in Chatham County, NC, attending Northwood High School. They met in college while at UNC working at Hope Gardens, a student run garden providing food to area homeless shelters. As social media superstars, they have almost 2 million followers across their accounts.
