Hurricane Helene Relief Effort

It is hard to believe the devastation that Helene did to Western North Carolina. Junior Jeffries (our longtime electrical subcontractor) plans to take several trailers of needed supplies to the mountains. RB mentioned to him that Fearrington residents might love to add to it… Junior thought that would be a great idea and will place an empty trailer in the Farmer’s Market lot from 8am to 4pm Wednesday & Thursday.

Junior has made arrangements with the Spruce Pines Fire Chief to store everything in the fire station, and distribute to those in need. Laura has prepared a partial list of items needed… see it here. Please, no used clothes, furniture, or items that need refrigeration. Let’s fill up the trailer for our western neighbors!
