The Fearrington Farmer's Market

SINCE 1991

The Fearrington Farmers’ Market started in 1991 as a true producer-only market where everything sold is grown or made by the vendors themselves. It supports small farms, sustainable practices, and the local economy. The market runs every Tuesday and offers a friendly, community-focused place to find fresh, high-quality food.

For nearly five decades, Fearrington has grown with intention: preserving open spaces, honoring its farm heritage, and building neighborhoods that foster connection and comfort. Here, residents enjoy peaceful trails, inviting gathering spaces, vibrant clubs and activities, and the charm of a community where people know one another by name. Discover what our residents love most about living in Fearrington Village—and why so many choose to call this remarkable community home.

Connect, Explore, and Belong in Fearrington Village

Many clubs and events gather at The Gathering Place, home of the Fearrington Homeowners Association and a central hub for resident life. Here, neighbors meet for workshops, social events, guest speakers, and community programs that enrich daily living. At Fearrington, it’s easy to get involved—and even easier to feel at home.

KIND WORDS

"We enjoy the sense that we belong. It’s not just another place to live, it’s a real community. Many of the residents are fascinating people who have been places and done things, and they are always happy to share their experiences. It is the easiest place to make friends that we’ve ever lived."
