Fearrington is so much more than just a community of houses! Interwoven within the various neighborhoods of Fearrington Village are walking trails, hiking trails and plentiful green spaces and majestic trees. A 17 acre park includes natural trails, raw flower meadows and ponds full of turtles and wild fowl. Two other small ponds pepper the community. In addition, the residents have created a “Fearrington Habitat Restoration” project – this quarter mile loop is on 3 acres of green space off of Millcroft and the North Langdon Trail. Moreover, several individual neighborhoods have created small garden and gathering spaces. Because there are so many artists in Fearrington, you may even come across a custom bird house or other statuary hidden within the wild foliage or trees off a trail. We are so lucky to live in a community where you can leave the sanctuary of your own home and walk right out into a greater sanctuary of nature!
