Fall Series Wine Class – Part 3: Syrah
For our Fall wine classes, we are going to delve into single grape varietals and how they express themselves from different locations all around the world!
Fearrington Wine Director Troy Revell has a three part series with the challenge of presenting as many different styles as possible using a single grape. The November class concludes the series with Syrah, where we will explore examples from Rhône, Washington, Australia, and beyond! Frequently a sommelier favorite, Syrah is both a chameleon that changes it’s profile dependent on the region, but also a classic and noble variety that shows consistent flavor elements throughout the world.
A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place on the Terrace behind The Fearrington House Restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you!
The Fine Print:
This $75 all-inclusive wine class is non-refundable. If your plans have changed, please feel free to send a lucky friend in your place! Just send us an email with their name or have them bring your confirmation email.
