    Happy Holidays One and All. Before we close the door on 2026, we want to thank youfor trusting us with your book selections and supporting a local small business. McIntyre's is looking forward to continuing this relationship in 2026. We have some great events planned and more fun, so stay tuned...

    This weekwe are open Monday and Tuesday. Take advantage of these special hours because after we close at 4pm on Wednesday, New Year's Eve, we will be closed for inventory and reopen on Wednesday, January 7th. Then we return to our regular hours of Wednesday through Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10-5.Holiday cards and some holiday books are on sale at 30% off, so catch them while you can.

    Tickets for the Saturday panels of CrimeScene are available, but the Friday Cocktail Party is sold out. Pete has really put together an outstanding crime and mystery authors, so if this is your jam-- check it out.

    Finally next Saturday we begin our schedule of events at 11am with Rebecca Beyer, who has a book just out. The Complete Folk Herbal: An Illustrated Guide to Natural Remedies and Everyday Healing is a definitive, beautifully illustrated guide to the folklore, history, and everyday utility of nearly 100 plants, trees, and shrubs. Keebe can attest that Rebecca is a terrific teacher as well.
