The Fearrington Innsider - A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and Looking Ahead
As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on everything we’ve accomplished together—and it is a remarkable list. In the past twelve months, we renovated parts of The Fearrington House Restaurant and the lounge area as well as the kitchen, refreshed several of our inn rooms, replaced the roof and painted the Inn courtyard building, expanded the spa to add another two treatment rooms and more retail area, opened a brand new men’s store, refined Galloway’s Wine Bar & Shop, and brought almost all of our shops products online for easy shopping. We also launched five new weekly emails—including this InnSider—welcomed nearly 8,000 guests to the Inn (a mix of new faces and returning friends), congratulated countless couples who said “I do” at Fearrington, and celebrated The Fearrington House Restaurant being named a Michelin Recommended destination. Somewhere in the midst of all that, we also built a brand-new website. I am quite sure I’m forgetting something—but that only speaks to how full the year has been. None of this would have been possible without all of you. Your visits, your encouragement, your loyalty, and even your kind responses to these InnSider notes truly keep us going. Your feedback inspires me to continue writing, sharing, and dreaming up new ways to connect with you and bring the Village to life.
As we head into the final days of the year, a quick update on our hours.
In a change to our usual schedule, we will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday for last-minute holiday visits. After that, we will be giving our team a deeply deserved rest. They have worked tirelessly through the last two weeks—straight through, with only Christmas Day off—and they need time to recharge.
Fearrington Village—including all shops, restaurants, and The Fearrington House Inn—will be closed January 1–6 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 7. During this brief pause, we’ll also be making a few updates to areas that can only be addressed while the Village is closed. Looking forward, we already have some exciting plans in motion for 2026, and I can’t wait to share more with you as the new year unfolds. There is so much to look forward to. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of our Fearrington family. Wishing you a peaceful end to the year and a happy and healthy beginning to the next. With gratitude,
