The Fearrington InnSider - A Holiday Message From Me to You
As we reach the final weeks of the year, I want to take a moment to wish each of you a very warm and joyful holiday season. Thank you for your support, your visits, your kind words, and for tuning into the InnSider throughout the year. It is truly a privilege to share Fearrington with you—and to be part of the moments you create here. We also have exciting news to share: our new Fearrington Village website has officially launched. Kelley Fitch led the redesign beautifully, with a bit of help from me along the way, and we are thrilled with how much more dynamic and flexible it will be. The new platform allows us to update images easily, incorporate video, and highlight our blogs in a more engaging way. And speaking of blogs—view a few of them here on our dedicated blog page.
This fall, at a Relais & Châteaux conference, we attended an e-reputation workshop where Fearrington was unexpectedly featured in a presentation. A new program aggregated every guest image posted on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest that mentioned Fearrington. Naturally, we assumed the Belted Galloway cows would be the number one subject—but to our surprise and delight, it was the gardens.
Your photos, your perspectives, your moments among the flowers and pathways were what appeared most often. There is no higher compliment for us, and it inspires us to continue showcasing the beauty of this place in deeper and more meaningful ways.
On hearing this news, our gardeners have been dreaming up a blog of their own, one that will focus on what’s happening in the gardens in real time—seasonal changes, plant highlights, behind-the-scenes insights, and the small wonders they observe every day. We hope to bring this to life in early 2026, and I think it will become something very special for all of us who love the landscape here. As we head into a new year, we look forward to sharing more stories, more behind-the-scenes glimpses, and more of the quiet magic that makes Fearrington Village what it is. Thank you, truly, for being part of our community. Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful holiday season. With gratitude,
