    Discover how a dramatic rain shadow, ancient glacial floods, and extreme daily temperature swings collide to create some of the world's most vibrant wines.

    Wine Director Troy Revell has visited Washington wine country multiple times, and is excited to share with you a lineup of his absolute favorite discoveries from the region. We will explore the Cascade Effect to see how towering mountains shield vineyards from rain. We will uncover how the prehistoric Missoula Floods left behind rich, sandy soils. You will also discover how high-latitude sun and long summer days pack grapes with intense flavor, while cold desert nights lock in a crisp, refreshing acidity. Come uncork the Pacific Northwest!

    A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place on the Terrace behind The Fearrington House Restaurant.

    This $75 all-inclusive wine class is non-refundable. If your plans have changed, please feel free to send a lucky friend in your place! Just send us an email with their name or have them bring your confirmation email.
