    Discover how high elevations, ancient soils, and a remarkably dry climate combine to create some of Australia’s most distinctive and exciting wines.

    Wine Director Troy Revell will guide you through the Clare Valley, a region famous for its brilliant, age-worthy Rieslings but capable of far more. We’ll explore how elevation and cool nights preserve freshness beneath the intense Australian sun, and discover why the valley’s varied soils and dramatic landscape give neighboring vineyards remarkably different personalities. Along the way, we’ll venture beyond Riesling to taste unexpected varieties alongside Clare classics like Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. From traditional benchmarks to a new generation of ideas, come discover why Clare Valley is one of Australia’s most fascinating wine regions.

    A few small bites from Chef Gagne are included and wines tasted will be available for purchase at the end of the event. The class will take place on the Terrace behind The Fearrington House Restaurant.

    This $75 all-inclusive wine class is non-refundable. If your plans have changed, please feel free to send a lucky friend in your place! Just send us an email with their name or have them bring your confirmation email.
