    TORTOCHOT BOURGOGNE PINOT NOIR 2021

    Fresh, supple and classically Burgundian, this 100% Pinot Noir shows red cherry and raspberry with touches of violet, white pepper, earth and gentle spice. Light- to medium-bodied with soft tannins and bright acidity, it has an easy, graceful texture and a clean, energetic finish.

    Domaine Tortochot is a historic family estate based in Gevrey-Chambertin and today run by Chantal Tortochot. The domaine farms organically and focuses on traditional expressions of Pinot Noir from across the northern Côte de Nuits, from regional Bourgogne through village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites.

    This Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from a small parcel in Gevrey-Chambertin, with vines around 20 years old, and is aged for 12 months in oak. The cooler 2021 vintage produced especially fresh, elegant wines with vivid red fruit and modest weight, making this an approachable introduction to the domaine’s style. A versatile pairing for roast chicken, charcuterie, mushrooms or mild cheeses.
