“The evolution of my “bubble clouds,” which so many know me for today, came quickly after my first attempts with landscape painting. As though this level of whimsy had always been tucked away in my brain, one day these animated clouds decided to dance onto my paintings and I immediately knew they were there to stay. Their graceful dance across horizons seemingly turned my work into pages from a storybook; This was a feeling I wanted to hold onto and embrace throughout all my work. Each body of work I create is inspired by life’s pretty little moments, often depicting everyday objects, animals, and nature but with a heightened sense of joy and wonder. My paintings aren’t about realism, they’re small windows into a world where the mundane fades away and the beauty of a fleeting moment is captured in a whimsical embrace.“
