AMBER MINHA
Originally from Wisconsin, Amber started her career in the restaurant business at a young age of 6, washing dishes at her best friend's parent supper club. She got paid in French fries back then. She then starting working at a private country club in her late teens and that is how she learned about hospitality, fine dining, first class service and wine. She went from hospitality to sales (and studied and completed her Certified Sommelier) and after 13 years working for a distributor of fine wine, she had the call from the Napa Valley Vintners to move to her dream spot, Napa Valley, where she was the Domestic Marketing Manager for all of the wineries and the Napa Valley American Viticulture Area, AVA. She helped with the International Marketing while also educating trade, consumers and thousands of people over the years on not only Napa Valley, but the ever-changing wine world.
After a few years, she made the transition to Staglin Family Vineyard, one of the world’s greatest wines in Rutherford, Napa Valley, and runs all sales globally. She travels the world and seeks out the best restaurants, resorts, private clubs and wine shops and hosts wine events nightly, talking about organic farming, running a women owned and operated winery, the ageability of Staglin Family Vineyard wines and all that encompasses the Napa Valley. She is a Global Sales Director and Ambassador for Staglin Family Vineyard.
Amber is vibrant, full of energy and has a way of explaining wine in an “easy to understand” way. She loves National Parks (and has been to all in the US but one) and now lives in two of the world’s best places: Napa Valley and the Cotswolds in England, with her partner, Phil, and their Rhodesian Ridgeback, Midas. She also has planted a small vineyard in the UK and hopes to one day produce the world’s best English Sparkling, or at least a drinkable one.
Fearrington Village proudly welcomes Master Sommelier Jonathan Ross, co-founder of Legend Australian Wine Imports and co-author of How to Drink Australian. After rising through the highest levels of American fine dining and then spending several years immersed in Australia’s rapidly evolving wine scene, Jonathan returned to the United States determined to change the way Americans think about Australian wine.
Through Legend, Jonathan and his wife and business partner Jane Lopes have championed a new generation of Australian producers—wines driven by distinctive sites, thoughtful farming and an increasingly diverse collection of grape varieties and regions that stretch far beyond the stereotypes of Australian wine. Chef Paul Gagne and Wine Director Troy Revell will create a custom multi-course dinner showcasing selections from the Legend portfolio, with Jonathan presenting the wines and sharing the stories behind the growers, regions and modern Australian wine movement.

Founded in 2020 by sommeliers Jonathan Ross and Jane Lopes, Legend Australian Wine Imports was born from several years the couple spent living and working in Australia and from a simple realization: many of the most exciting wines they encountered there were barely represented in the United States.
Legend set out to introduce American wine drinkers to a different Australia—one of cool-climate vineyards, ancient soils, old vines, Mediterranean varieties, energetic farming and small producers making highly individual wines. Its portfolio ranges across the continent, seeking out bottles that express the extraordinary diversity of Australian terroir rather than any single idea of what “Australian wine” should taste like.
That mission has grown well beyond importing. Jonathan and Jane are the authors of the acclaimed How to Drink Australian, an expansive guide to the country’s regions, grapes, growers and rapidly changing wine culture. In 2025 Legend became a Certified B Corporation, reinforcing its commitment to responsible business practices and a more sustainable wine industry.

Jonathan Ross is a Master Sommelier, importer, author and winemaker whose career has taken him from some of America’s most celebrated dining rooms to the vineyards and restaurants of Australia.
A New Jersey native, Jonathan spent much of his early career in New York restaurants, culminating in five years as Head Sommelier at Eleven Madison Park. During his tenure, the restaurant earned three Michelin stars and rose to the No. 1 position onThe World’s 50 Best Restaurants. Jonathan passed the Master Sommelier examination in 2017.
That same year, he moved to Melbourne, where he became Beverage Director for the premium restaurants of the Rockpool Dining Group. Immersing himself in Australian wine firsthand, Jonathan also curated wines for Qantas and began producing his own small-production Australian wines under the Micro Wines label.
When Jonathan and Jane returned to the United States in 2020, they founded Legend to bring the producers and wines they had discovered in Australia to an American audience. Their work culminated in the 2023 publication ofHow to Drink Australian, a sweeping exploration of contemporary Australian wine and the people, places and ideas driving its remarkable renaissance.
Today, Jonathan remains one of Australian wine’s most passionate ambassadors in the United States - bringing the perspective of a sommelier, importer and winemaker to a country whose wine story is far broader, stranger and more exciting than most Americans realize.

AMERICAN FOUNDATION OF SUICIDE PREVENTION
Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies:
- Funding scientific research
- Educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention
- Advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention
- Supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide
