    Silky, bright and easy-drinking, this German Pinot Noir shows candied cherry, crushed strawberry and raspberry with touches of violet, vanilla and baking spice. Light- to medium-bodied with gentle tannins and fresh acidity, it has a soft texture and clean, juicy finish.

    Chiara comes from the Pfalz, one of Germany’s warmest and sunniest wine regions and an increasingly important home for Pinot Noir. Here the grape can achieve generous fruit while still retaining the freshness and delicacy that make the variety so appealing.

    At just 12.5% alcohol, the 2021 stays lively and approachable rather than heavy. Its combination of red fruit, subtle spice and silky texture makes it a versatile everyday red, particularly good with roast chicken, salmon, pizza or lighter pasta dishes.
