    Perfumed, savory and finely structured, this 100% Pinot Noir shows red cherry, cranberry and wild strawberry with violet, dried herbs, earth and gentle spice. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine, persistent tannins, it has the freshness of the 2021 vintage with the depth and savory character that define Gevrey-Chambertin.

    Domaine Alain Burguet is a small family estate based in Gevrey-Chambertin, known for traditional, low-intervention Pinot Noir and careful work in the vineyard. Today the domaine is led by Alain’s sons, Jean-Luc and Eric, who continue the family’s focus on old vines, low yields and expressive, site-driven wines.

    “Mes Favorites” is a village-level Gevrey-Chambertin assembled from several parcels, many planted with older vines, and is one of the domaine’s most representative bottlings. The cooler 2021 vintage gives the wine extra lift and transparency, with red fruit, earthy complexity and a firm but elegant structure. It is drinking well with a little air now, but should continue to develop nicely over the next several years.
