Gentle Reader – April 8, 2025
Dear Gentle Reader,
We are delighted to welcome back Georgann Eubanks on Saturday, April 12 at 11am for her new book, The Fabulous Ordinary: Discovering the Natural Wonders of the Wild South (and rumor has it we might even have copies of her upcoming collection of poetry, Rural Astronomy). Georgann is a writer, Emmy-winning documentarian, and founder of the TableRock Writers Workshop. In this book, she offers readers a tour of the seasonal joys of ecosystems in the Southeast. Through phenomena, destinations and events, she reveals how plants, mammals, amphibians and insects are managing to persevere despite pressures from human invasion, habitat destruction, and climate change, Whenever Georgann visits, it promises to be quite interesting and fun.
