Ashley Lumpkin is the author of four chapbooks and one full length poetry collection. Her book I Hate You All Equally is a collection of conversations from her years in the classroom. A lover of performance as well as the written word, she coaches the Bull City Poetry Slam Team.
Michael Gaspeny’s most recent books are Flight Manual: New and Selected Poems and the novel A Postcard from the Delta. He has also published a novella in verse, The Tyranny of Questions, and two chapbooks. For hospice service, he has received the North Carolina Governor’s Award for Volunteer Excellence.
Steve Cushman has published three novels, including Portisville, winner of the 2004 Novello Literary Award. His first full-length collection, How Birds Fly, won the 2018 Lena Shull Book award. Cushman’s latest poetry collection, The Last Time, was published in 2023.
