NCPS Reading with Richard Allen Taylor, Judith Ferster and Al Maginnes

Please join us for our series of poetry readings cosponsored by the North Carolina Poetry Society. Each session includes readings by three poets followed by an open mic session.

Richard Allen Taylor is the author of four poetry collections, including Letters to Karen Carpenter and Other Poems. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in the late 60s and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte much later.

Judith Ferster is a retired English professor, whose post-occupation pre-occupations include the environment and peace in Israel and Palestine.  She has published poems in literary magazines including The Georgia Review, Kakalak, and Flying South. Her volume of poems, Songs of the Ovenbird, was published by Hermit Feathers Press.

Al Maginnes is the author of fourteen collections of poetry, most recently Fellow Survivors: New and Selected Poems. He is recently retired from teaching and trying to figure out what comes next.
