    SABINA SAVAGE - ORANGES AND LEMONS SILK BIAS SKIRT

    This simple slip skirt was designed, printed and made in England from our classic silk twill, adding a subtle sheen to its surface. It features a bias-cut and gently elasticated waistline, allowing it to be slipped on with no additional fastenings. The skirt is constructed with an exquisite placement print, pin-hem and is French-seamed throughout.

    This design is filled with a scene of exotic and explosively vibrant citrus fruits, each contrasting against the soft, grey-blue background. Grosgrain ribbons twirl through the stems, echoing the soft blossom petals. Amongst the fruits, a striking green parrot looms, heralding the arrival of tropical new species to England, an unknown threat to our domestic breeds of the era.
