    LORENZO UOMO - RIBBED MERCERIZED COTTON SOCKS IN TAUPE

    Lorenzo Uomo partnered with an Italian yarn spinner to achieve the extraordinary smooth, soft texture and brilliant color of their mercerized heather basic socks. Made using two-ply mercerized Egyptian cotton staples, raw yarn is carefully passed through a low flame, where excess yarn "fuzz" is burned off. The yarn is then passed through a second phase of "top dyeing." The result is highly unique and luxurious sock.
