    ARNOT ROBERTS TROUSSEAU 2024

    Light, fragrant and wonderfully lively, this 100% Trousseau shows red cherry, cranberry and raspberry with crushed rose petals, orange peel, mint and a subtle savory note of tobacco and spice. Light- to medium-bodied with bright acidity and fine tannins, it has the freshness of a chillable red but enough depth and complexity to keep it interesting.

    Arnot-Roberts was founded by childhood friends Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts, and has become one of California’s benchmark small-production wineries for less conventional varieties and cool-climate sites. Their Trousseau helped introduce many American drinkers to this Jura grape, showing how well it can translate to the cooler corners of Northern California.

    The 2024 comes primarily from Luchsinger Vineyard, with additional fruit from Las Cimas, and is fermented with 100% whole clusters. The result is aromatic, crunchy and savory, with plenty of lift and just 13% alcohol. Serve it lightly chilled for an especially refreshing red—great with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled vegetables or simply on its own.
