Chiara Boschis is an entrepreneur and pioneer in Piemonte, taking over and revitalising E. Pira in the nineties. Running the winery alone for twenty years, she was the first female winemaker in the Langhe and has worked to pass down her knowledge to the next generation of female successors in the form of her three nieces. She has become a leader in her field, but perhaps most significantly has led the way in organic certification, helping over 80% of the growers in Cannubi, Barolo, work organically.
Perhaps informed by the Barolo that makes up the majority of Boschis’ production, this Dolcetto is elevated by delicate florals on the nose and supported by classic Italian notes of earth and dry cherry.
