Vanilla and orange blossom aromas and followed by crips notes of yellow apple and anjou pear. The vines for this bottling are between 75 and 100 years old, this imparts a concetrated minerality leading to an exteded finish. This is an excellent example of a restrained Mâconnais Chardonnay. With 15% new oak this wine has a silky texture that is delicously balanced by notes of tart orange curd. An excellent gastronomic wine, perfect for sweet scallops or roast chicken.
