There is something quietly striking about pewter — soft in tone, luminous in finish, and endlessly versatile. Match Rimmed Pewter Vases were imagined as modern urns: curvaceous containers in classic proportions, designed with a generous capacity for abundant flowers.
Elegant yet understated, they make a beautiful statement on a dining table, console, or kitchen island. We highly encourage mixing them with other vase styles of varying heights and shapes to create layered, artful arrangements. The effect is timeless and effortless — whether filled with garden blooms or simple branches.
WHY WE LOVE THEM
What makes these vases especially remarkable is how they are made. While many MATCH pewter pieces are cast, these treasures are spun by hand from two discs of pewter — one forming the body and another the base. Pewter spinning is a traditional technique in which a flat disc is rotated at high speed and carefully shaped into a perfectly symmetrical form. It requires extraordinary skill to achieve the smooth curves and refined contours that define each piece. The base is spun separately and then soldered to the body, creating a seamless, heirloom-quality finish.
The result is a vessel that feels both contemporary and rooted in centuries-old craftsmanship — substantial, beautiful, and made to last.
