Donald is here to entertain and to help raise food and funds forCORA, the Chatham County food pantry. We hope you will plan to bring nonperishable foods or cash as an extra donation when you attend. Our friends from Chatham Reads will also be on hand to accept book donations for literacy projects in Chatham County. If you've donated books to Chatham Reads at McIntyre's recently, they've gone to the family spaces at CORA food pantries for kids to enjoy while their parents shop for groceries.
If you'd like an opportunity to be more personally involved in sharing books with local kids, Chatham Reads is also currently seeking volunteers to support literacy and library programs in our elementary schools. As a Library Volunteer, you will provide valuable assistance to school librarians, helping create engaging and well-managed learning environments for students.
