What makes it even more special is knowing how much heart goes into it. Our Floral Team has been working on this since August—yes, really! They’ve spent months making over 70 beautiful bows for the lanterns and wreaths and dreaming up all the little touches that make Fearrington feel so warm and inviting this time of year. And then this week, they teamed up with our Gardening & Grounds Crew to bring everything to life. The gardeners raised the trees, hung the garlands, installed the bows, and made sure every corner of the Village looked just right. I am endlessly grateful for their talent, creativity, and hard work. Fearrington shines the way it does because of them.  If you wander through the Village, you’ll see some of our favorite traditions—our whimsical holiday tree decorated with edible ornaments for the birds and squirrels (all handmade by our gardening crew), the cheerful little stand with the glowing Beltie, and the new grapevine balls twinkling high up in the trees. The lanterns, the wreaths, the garlands… everything feels infused with so much care and joy.
And if you’d like to bring a bit of Fearrington’s holiday charm home with you, we do have live cedar wreaths available for purchase at The Belted Goat. They smell absolutely incredible, and if you’d like one dressed up with a ribbon, just let us know—our Floral Team would be delighted to adorn it for you. Nest also has the grapevine light balls back in stock if you’d like to add that same magical glow to your own trees.  The Village feels especially joyful right now.
