No matter the season, it’s always the perfect time to slip away to Fearrington. We’ve got one of the best wine cellars around and are passionate about teaching and tasting and pairing, so there are generally wine classes and dinners afoot.
Regardless of the room you choose, room amenities include restorative Kingsdown pillowtop featherbeds, plush 300 thread count sateen Egyptian cotton bed linens, Boca Terry robes, iPod docking stations, flat screen televisions and safes. Don’t sleep on breakfast at the Fearrington House Restaurant. For decades, breakfast has been one of the highlights of our guests’ experiences, providing a luxurious easing into the day ahead with pastries, smoothies, fresh squeezed juice, and fresh coffee, or hot tea, followed by a choice of breakfast selections ranging from classic to posh, light to hearty, and a little bit of everything in between. Try the Fearrington House Breakfast, with eggs your way, bacon and sausage, and our signature thyme-scented potatoes and mushrooms. Treat yourself to Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, sauteed spinach, or Canadian bacon (or all three!) Or even indulge in our buttermilk pancakes, topped with lemon curd, blueberry compote, and candied pecans, a socially acceptable way to eat dessert for breakfast. You’re on vacation, after all!

Fearrington House Afternoon Tea, long solely provided to Fearrington House Inn guests, has proven to be such a hit that we’ve recently expanded our offerings and welcomed the Chapel Hill community—and beyond!—into our living room. Seasonal rotating selections of savory and sweet options range from traditional (cucumber sandwiches and macarons) to creative (elote-inspired toasts and melon custards), so you never quite know what you’ll experience each time you visit. Bring your grandmother, your mother, your husband, even your children, dress up (we love seeing your fascinators!), and come hungry.

The Spa at Fearrington is a Relais & Châteaux destination and day spa near Chapel Hill, NC and just a short drive from Raleigh and Durham.
