Listen to the crunch of the leaves, feel the chill morning air, see the colors change…it’s fall in Fearrington Village! Now is a spectacular time to plan a visit for a night, a weekend, or a lifetime. The menu is changing to reflect the seasonal faves of Chef Paul Gagne (with his signature twist, of course!), the shops are hosting designers tried and true and fresh and new, Roost boasts live music under the oaks on Thursdays and Fridays, Saturdays continue on with our free wine tastings in Galloway’s under the Belted Goat (plus, check out upcoming wine dinners!) and McIntyre’s has author events every weekend. So stroll the paths, curl up by a crackling fire, and savor the season with us.

McINTYRE’S BOOKS
October is full of wonderful events at the bookstore. For kids, Johanna Banana leads storytime for the littles Thursdays from 10:30-11:30am; for the older set John Claude Bemis joins us this Saturday at 11am to discuss his new graphic novel, Rodeo Hawkins and the Daughers of Mahem. Tate Godwin will lead a Kid’s Graphic Novel Workshop on Saturday the 18th at 2pm.
We’ll host Scott Gould, Ed Southern, Sara Johnson, and Justin Laborde to learn about their new works, and the NC Poetry Society on the 26th. Autumn Book Clubs happen this month: Night will be on Thursday the 16th, and Morning on Friday the 16th. And we’ll host the Our State Book Club event in The Barn on Wednesday the 29th.
