Kids Graphic Novel Workshop with author Tate Godwin

Join author Tate Godwin as he shares the hilarious, up-and-down story behind the creation of his first graphic novel, and guides kids through the process of making their own graphic novels. Free to attend, and no materials necessary! Paper and drawing utensils will be provided.

 

Tate Godwin is a kids’ graphic novelist and illustrator based in Chapel Hill. He loves creating stories about friendship, facing fears, and being true to oneself. His debut kids’ graphic novel, Operation: Cover-Up, was published in January 2025, and its sequel, Operation: Make a Splash, will be released on February 24, 2026.
