Ferraton Père & Fils was founded in 1946 by Jean Orëns Ferraton, a descendant of Rhône vignerons. His son Michel later expanded the estate and partnered with Michel Chapoutier, leading the winery toward organic and biodynamic practices. Today, Ferraton manages 18 hectares in renowned appellations including Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Saint-Joseph, combining traditional winemaking with a deep respect for terroir and sustainability.
