Lapostolle was founded in 1994 by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet, descendants of the Bournet-Lapostolle family renowned for producing Grand Marnier since 1827. After discovering the remarkable terroir of Chile’s Apalta Valley, they launched a pioneering venture in Chilean winemaking. Today, under the leadership of seventh-generation Charles de Bournet, Lapostolle remains committed to crafting world-class wines that beautifully express Chilean terroir—while prioritizing sustainability across its three estate vineyards in Apalta.
