What an incredible opening weekend for Thistle & Oak, our new men’s apparel and gift store at Fearrington Village! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebration.

We kicked things off with a ribbon cutting alongside the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, and were thrilled to welcome designer Clifton Wilson as part of the festivities. Guests enjoyed pours of our collaboration beers with BMC Brewing—the Fearrington Beltie Lagerand Fancy Cow Kölsch—alongside bites of our signature shrimp & grits from The Belted Goat.

Inside, the store itself feels like a modern gentleman’s study: deep green walls, warm wood shelving, and carefully curated displays of apparel, accessories, and gifts. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, down to the floral arrangement created by our talented Fearrington floral team—featuring thistles and oak leaves to honor the store’s name. It’s these touches of craft and heritage that make the space feel so distinctive.

From tailored shirts and outerwear to handmade belts, leather goods, and refined accessories, Thistle & Oak is a place for men (and those shopping for them) to discover quality and character.
