How did you and your partner meet?

We met while we were both students at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. We met through sorority + fraternity life in 2012 and the rest was history…

Tell us about the engagement?

Tyler proposed at one of our favorite places in the world – New Buffalo, Michigan. Beachfront proposal on the perfect summer day – followed by a celebration with our closest friends and family at our favorite bar in Chicago – Kelly’s Pub.

What made Fearrington the place for you to say “I do?” 

Given that our wedding guest list was 90% out of towners – we wanted a place that felt special and unqiue to the south + North Carolina. We couldn’t have found a better match in Fearrington – truly the dream wedding venue.

Describe the highlight moment of your wedding day.

The highlight and most overwhelming part of the entire day was having all of our favorite people from different chapters of our lives in one room – an indescribable and incredible feeling that we will never forget.

What was the biggest surprise of the day?

How relaxed we were! Everything went perfectly and we truly had the best day ever.

What was your biggest surprise about wedding planning?

All of the decisions to be made and how much fun it was! Everyone talks about the stress – which there is some of that, but we genuinely had a blast and enjoyed every moment of it!
