One of my greatest joys at Fearrington is sourcing new brands for our Village shops—finding pieces that feel special, tell a story, and bring beauty into our guests’ everyday lives. It’s a process I love, and it’s why, when the opportunity arose to visit Milan for The White Show Resort 2026 collections, I didn’t hesitate, even if it meant a whirlwind 48-hour trip.

I was invited by a brand we currently carry to attend, and it turned out to be the perfect chance to discover what’s next for Fearrington. The White Show is a curated trade show featuring designers from around the world—many not widely available in the U.S.—and a place where trends quietly reveal themselves for the season ahead.

Over two packed days, I walked the floors, met with designers, and found five to six new brands from Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East that I can’t wait to share with you. From a gorgeous swimwear line perfect for the Spa to a jewelry collection we’re excited to bring to Dovecote, and new clothing brands that balance timeless design with modern ease, the trip was a reminder of how much I love the process of bringing beautiful things back to Fearrington.

Most of all, what made this trip special was the chance to connect with designers in person—to hear the stories behind their collections, to see the details up close, and to feel the energy that goes into every piece. These moments are what help my team and I to curate thoughtfully, ensuring that everything we bring into the shops feels like it belongs here.
