Quintessence has been produced since 1990 and is the estate’s richer, more concentrated red, selected from older vines on clay-limestone soils between roughly 250 and 350 meters in elevation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe wine is aged for around 12–15 months in barrels and demi-muids, adding spice and texture while preserving its dark fruit and savory character. Lush fruit, velvety tannins and bright acidity make this both powerful and balanced, with enough structure to age but plenty of appeal now with a decant.
