Our Neighborhoods

at fearrington village

Fearrington offers a variety of neighborhoods, from townhomes to single family homes on wooded lots. Many have maintenance packages, offering low maintenance living. Our residents have traveled from over 40 states (and several countries), to call Fearrington home.

Our first homes, dating from the mid-70s to the mid-80s, are tucked into wooded lots along streets such as Creekwood, Windstone and Beechmast. In the 1980s, we added two townhouse communities, Countryhouse and Weathersfield, featuring one and two-level homes clustered in intimate cul de sacs.

In the 1990s, we added The Woods, an expansive neighborhood of single family homes on generously sized homesites flanking a ring road named Spindlewood. Development was also begun in the southern half of Fearrington, starting with Camden Park, adjacent to the Village Center. This pedestrian friendly neighborhood of nearly 300 single family homes features several parks, straight roads flanked by sidewalks and shade trees, alleys with back entrance garages, and density afforded by narrow homesites. In the mid to late 90s, we built the Langdon Place Townhomes, a community of large duplex units with attached garages, as well as Bush Creek, a lovely neighborhood of winding roads and midsized single family homes.

In the 2000s, we opened Whitaker Ridge, featuring estate homesites on a stunning wooded hilltop setting. Millcroft Close, with smaller single family homes on closely nestled homesites, also opened. Bradford Place, a neighborhood of single family homes, and Camden South were started.

Rutherford Close

Rutherford Close

In 2013, we launched Rutherford Close, a 12-unit duplex neighborhood next to Camden Park. In 2014, we opened Burke Place, a road of 12 half acre homesites across from Millcroft Close. Henderson Place, constructed by Homes by Dickerson, came to fruition in 2015. Set on a forested knoll in the heart of the community, The Knolls neighborhood stylish, efficient living surrounded by protected wooded open space. The following year in 2016, we began working on Millcreek Circle with charming lots that host midsize customizable homes. Currently we are developing Richmond a lovely neighborhood of single family homesites, perfect for larger custom homes. Montgomery lots are available as of October 2019.

Today we have plans underway for several more diverse neighborhoods to be built over the next ten years. Contact us to learn more about our neighborhoods, or view our available homesites.
