Gary and Paulette Carlson, along with their adorable dogs Pippin and Paisley, currently live in the Camden Park neighborhood here in Fearrington. This is their second time around! Read more about this couple that lived here and then moved back. We love that they returned!

What persuaded you to move to Fearrington?
We escaped New England because of difficult winters, the high cost of living and the up tempo. About 10 years after being here we decided to move to Florida because we had family there. It was the biggest mistake we could have made. We were back to an up tempo environment again. One year later we returned to Fearrington to stay. Lesson learned, this is where we call home.

What about the Bush Creek neighborhood appealed to you when deciding between Fearrington’s neighborhoods?
We enjoyed our friendly neighbors, the peace and quiet and the wooded environment.

What do you love most about Fearrington?
We love the Village and call it our “Camelot”

What is one of your most fond memories of living in Fearrington?
Meeting new people, making new friends and participating in clubs and functions.
