In
Spring, 2009, we were pleased to announce the opening of Roost in
the Fearrington Farm's historic corn crib, which was formerly The
Potting Shed. Home to an eclectic compilation of treasures gathered
from near and far, this cozy shop offers fabulous one-of-a-kind
vintage textiles from India, beautiful seasonal adornments to dress
up a room or punch up a dining table, unique containers and
exceptional faux stems for stunning no-fuss arrangements, a plethora
of clever hostess gifts, jewelry and bags and a unique shopping
experience with a touch of Bohemian chic. Roost also offers
one-of-a-kind couture
Woodland Sprites, hand-crafted in the shop by Vicky. Roost is
surrounded by Fearrington's
Sculpture Garden.

The
Sculpture Garden
Opened in the spring of 2009, The Sculpture Garden is nestled in the
area surrounding Roost. The
garden is dotted with sculptures by amazing regional artists such as
William Brock, Paul Hill, Tinka Jordy, Gretchen Lothrop, William Moore, Mike
Roig, and Edwin White. After you stroll through the
Sculpture Garden, get a bite to eat or a glass of wine from the
Belted Goat
and enjoy your meal under an umbrella in the delightful new
courtyard just in front of Roost.
Please Note
Roost will be closed for its annual winter hibernation during January and February. The shop will
reopen for spring in March.
