Thursday, January 12th, 2012:
The Wines of Argentina and Uruguay
Join us for a tour of the wines of Argentina and Uruguay. Along with
Argentina’s successful Malbec, we will delve into the world of
Uruguayan Tannat, try some Albarino from Montevideo, and Pinot Noir
from Patagonia. Come and explore the cutting edge of South American
winemaking.
Thursday, February 16th, 2012: The Wines of Piemonte and Lombardy
At the base of the Alps, in the north-western part of Italy, lies
perhaps two of the most interesting winegrowing states in Italy. We
will take a look at wines from Barolo, Barbaresco, Carema,
Valtellina, and yes Franciacorta. Come and escape the cold of winter
and be embraced by the warmth of these wines.
Thursday, March 15th, 2012: Cheese & Wine with The Brothers Kast
Join brothers Maximilian Kast, Fearrington House Wine Director,
and Alexander Kast, A Southern Season’s Cheesemonger, as they
explore the world of English Farmhouse cheeses with wines from the
Priorato, Bordeaux, and Rioja. Please note this event is $55 per
person, including tax and gratuity.

famous Heurige. This place is steeped in wine culture, come join us
and explore the famous Gemischter Satz, field blends of Vienna, and
