The Old Granary Restaurant
enjoy freshly prepared cuisine at one of the triangle's favorite daytime restaurants

The Old Granary offers a contemporary lunch and brunch menu and attentive, friendly service in the former granary of the Fearrington farm. Under the direction of Chef Colin Bedford, the menu offers a delicious selection of handmade salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts.  The building offers seating on various levels with views of the village shops, surrounding gardens, and the rolling pastures grazed by Belted Galloway cows.

Read our OpenTable reviews and learn why the restaurant is an OpenTable Diners' Choice winner in the categories of Great for Brunch, Great For Lunch, Neighborhood Gem and Outdoor Dining! Looking to grab a light lunch, coffee or a glass of wine outside of The Old Granary's normal hours? Visit The Belted Goat or Roost located just across the Village Center.

The Old Granary is the perfect place for special events of all kinds, from wedding celebrations and rehearsal dinners to birthday and anniversary celebrations to bridal showers. As a daytime restaurant, The Old Granary can offer groups exclusive evening use.

Now Showing at The Old Granary Gallery

Currently showing at The Old Granary Gallery are the richly colored and textured works of Pittsboro native Julia Kennedy.
Ms. Kennedy's oil paintings are complex renderings which seek to convey both passion and excitement. Each work builds upon itself organically, layer by layer and color by color as opposed to being constructed by design. Ms. Kennedy not only explores the surface of the canvas but also the unknown world hidden just beneath.

A self-taught artist, Ms. Kennedy has had several solo and group shows, and her works are in many private collections both here and abroad.  She also participates in the annual Chatham Studio Tour.

Located on the lower level of the restaurant, The Gallery features rotating exhibits from extraordinary regional artists. Stroll through at any time and enjoy their fantastic work! Pieces featured are available for sale and may be taken at the end of each seasonal show.
