At
Fearrington, we enjoy four distinct seasons without the extremes.
January and February are winter; March through June, spring; July
and August, summer; September through December, fall. Outdoor
sports, such as tennis and golf, can be played almost every day of
the year. With temperatures normally
ranging from 22 degrees to 92 degrees, yards in the Triangle stay
green year round. Spring arrives here about a month earlier than in
the northern US.
Our snowfalls are more a cause for celebration than a nuisance. With
very little snow removal equipment, we just stay home and enjoy the
show - mother nature usually melts all traces the next day.
